Orgesa Zaimi is one of Albania’s most distinctive pop-rock vocalists and a true force in the modern music scene. With her retro aesthetic, powerful rock-influenced voice, and bold stage presence, Orgesa stands out as one of the few female artists in Albania to embrace genres like rock, blues, jazz, soul, and country—earning admiration both at home and across the diaspora.

Born in Poliçan and raised in a family of musicians, she began performing from a young age, encouraged by her father, a musician who recognized her natural talent. After excelling in school, she moved to Tirana, where she graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Philology, with a degree in Language and Literature. Her artistic path includes notable appearances in talent shows like Ethet 3 (“Angels and Devils” group winner) and Star Academy Albania, where she became one of the four finalists in the music category.

Since 2006, Orgesa has built a versatile career that spans live band performances, music competitions, and television. She also has a long-running passion for radio, hosting a daily music show on Club FM in Tirana for many years. She is praised for her charisma, sharp humor, and polished presence both on and off stage.

Her style is heavily influenced by musical legends such as Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, Freddie Mercury, and Elvis Presley. More than a passion, music is a way of life for Orgesa—a craft she lives and breathes every day.
